Summer 2015 Encounter Engineering Leaders
Encounter Engineering is a freshman orientation camp where peer mentors can work as a team leader, group leader, and other logistical positions. A hierarchal system is in place as a group leader oversees multiple groups and a team leader oversees approximately five freshmen. This camp prepares peer mentors for leadership positions and creates a long-lasting connection with the incoming freshmen, but also prepares freshmen for college.
In order to work for the Encounter Engineering summer camp, it is required to be an active peer mentor and have gone through both spring leadership trainings.
